Immediate Family - Larger casket displays are appropriate for an immediate family member to send. Very often several family members will combine resources to have a larger display rather than several smaller ones.
Friends - a Floral sprays, baskets, which can be arranged around the casket are always deemed appropriate.
Co Workers or Members of any organization that the deceased may have been a member of. A display of flowers from the group where all contribute to its cost is acceptable.
Sympathy gifts sent to the home. This can include fruit baskets, vased flowers or a live plant which can be displayed to convey the thoughts of sympathy. Very often, this is done when you are not able to attend services. As a rule, funeral homes will not accept deliveries of fruit baskets and the like.
